Things have been super hectic since my last blog annoucing Luciana's birth. Mostly we've all been adjusting to having a new member of the family. I finally feel like things are normal again.
Our biggest accomplishment since Luciana, is potty-training Emilia and Lorenzo. Jeremy decided they weren't going to wear diapers anymore the day after Christmas. We just happened to be going to Juayua that day, which is and hour and a half away. So we put plastic bags on their car seats (like that would have helped anything had they gone pee). We brought the little plastic potty and about five changes of clothes and told them to tell us if they had to go pee. I was asking them about every two minutes if they had to go. I was really paranoid. Finally, about 20 minutes into the drive Emilia said she had to go. So we pulled over, popped open the back of the minivan, took out the potty and sat Emilia down on it. And there, on the side of the highway, she went pee-pee. Lorenzo became enthused with all the congratulations we were giving Emilia and he went in the potty too. So we started very successfully. They did really well all day until about 5:30pm when we were just about to take a little sunset walk up in the mountains. About 100 meters into it I realized Emilia had pooped her pants. So we headed back to clean her up. As soon as I was finished cleaning up Emilia, Jeremy informed me that Lorenzo had also pooped his pants.
After that week, that very long, hard week, they pretty much caught on.
Ok so now I 'm just going to add some recent photos.
